From sunny window watching to cosy afternoon naps, our purpose-built cattery is designed for comfort, calm and a little bit of luxury. Our team of vets and nurses are passionate about giving every guest the best possible care, so whether your cat is a curious climber or a quiet nap lover, they’ll feel safe, happy and right at home.

Choose from standard, premium and deluxe suites to suit your budget and your cat’s needs, with options for multiple cats to board together. Every suite has separate areas for sleeping, scratching and toileting, with plenty of room to stretch, play and explore.

• Spacious multi-level suites with separate living and toilet areas
• Daily attention and health monitoring by trained staff
• Fresh vet-recommended meals twice daily and fresh water always available
• Litter changed twice daily
• Natural light and a viewing window
• Comfortable bedding (or bring your own)
• On-site veterinary care if required
• Medication and treatments administered as instructed (extra charges may apply)

Booking Requirements

To ensure the safety of all cats, the following are required before your booking is finalised:

• Up-to-date vaccinations (F3 minimum)
• Vaccination certificate provided prior to stay (if vaccinated outside of Better Pet Vets)
• Up-to-date flea and tick prevention (within 3 months)

Due to safetty concerns, we ask that all boarding cats who wear collars be equipped with a break-away collar only. If your cats collar is not a break-away, we kindly ask this is removed prior to boarding.

Payments & Deposits

• Invoice payments required on date of discharge
• Accepted payment methods: EFTPOS, cash, card, phone payment
• Deposit of 50% required to secure public holiday bookings. Deposit is 100% refundable if cancellations occur before 28 days of admission date.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations always accepted
• Public holiday cancellations after 28 days of admission date will result in your deposit being forfeited

Medical Care

Any health concerns will be assessed by our in-house veterinary team and owners will be contacted where possible. Any veterinary treatment costs will be the responsibility of the owner

Personal Items

Owners may bring small comfort items for their cat such as blankets, beds and toys. Items must be clearly labelled. We are not responsible for lost or damaged or soiled items.

Behaviour & Safety

All cats must be manageable and safe to handle. Aggressive or highly stressed cats may require alternative arrangements. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue barding if the cat’s welfare is compromised.

Emergency Contact

Owners required to provide at least one emergency contact. This chosen contact must be authorised to make decisions if the owner is unavailable.
